Community Guidelines

Effective: May 10, 2026

Luvu is a community for adults seeking genuine human connections. These Guidelines exist to make Luvu a safe, respectful, and welcoming place for everyone. By using Luvu you agree to follow these rules. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent banning, and may be reported to law enforcement where appropriate.

1. Be Yourself

  • Real identity. Use your real name or a genuine nickname. Impersonation, fake accounts, and catfishing are strictly prohibited.
  • Accurate photos. Your primary photo must clearly show your face. No photos of other people, celebrities, cartoons, or images that misrepresent your appearance.
  • Age requirement. You must be at least 18 years old. Anyone found to be under 18 will be permanently removed.

2. Treat Everyone with Respect

  • No harassment or bullying. Threatening, intimidating, or repeatedly contacting someone who has not responded is prohibited.
  • No hate speech. Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence based on race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic is banned.
  • No sexual harassment. Sending unsolicited explicit images or messages is prohibited. Respect when someone declines contact.
  • No violence. Threats of physical harm or content glorifying violence are not tolerated.

3. Keep It Safe and Legal

  • No explicit content. Nudity and sexually explicit content are not permitted on public profiles or in initial messages.
  • Child safety — zero tolerance. Any content involving minors in a sexual context will result in immediate and permanent removal and will be reported to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Interpol where required.
  • No illegal activity. Do not use Luvu to solicit, facilitate, or engage in any illegal activity, including the solicitation of commercial sexual services, drug sales, or human trafficking.
  • No scams or fraud. Romance scams, financial fraud, money laundering, and any scheme designed to deceive or extort other Members are strictly prohibited.

4. No Spam or Commercial Activity

  • Do not use Luvu to promote products, services, or external websites.
  • Do not send repetitive or unsolicited bulk messages.
  • Do not include contact details (phone numbers, social handles, external URLs) in your profile or opening messages.

5. Protect Your Own Safety

  • Never share financial information, passwords, or sensitive personal details with other Members.
  • When meeting someone in person for the first time, choose a public place and let a friend or family member know where you are going.
  • Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, block and report the person.

6. Reporting and Enforcement

To report a violation, open the member's profile and tap Report, or email us at support@sparkle5.com. Our Trust & Safety team reviews every report. Enforcement actions include:

  • Content removal
  • Warning
  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent ban
  • Referral to law enforcement

If you receive a moderation action you believe was made in error, you may appeal by emailing support@sparkle5.com with the subject line “Moderation Appeal”. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

7. Modern Slavery Statement

Luvu has zero tolerance for modern slavery and human trafficking. Our platform is built with user safety at its core: photo verification, automated content detection, proactive reporting tools, and cooperation with law enforcement are all part of how we protect our community.

8. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Guidelines periodically. We will notify you of material changes via in-Service notice or email. Continued use of Luvu after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Guidelines.
